  • BOK announces Bonus Share & Cash Dividend for FY 2068/69

    Bank of Kathmandu has been able to record a net profit of NRs. 608 million during the FY 2011/12. In view of satisfactory profit earned by the Bank its Board of Directors, during their meeting held on 29th August 2012 has decided to propose for 5 % bonus share and 21.32 %cash dividend post approvals of Nepal Rastra Bank and Annual General Meeting of the Bank.

  • BOK introduces 2 new services:Baideshik Rojgar Banking & BOK Kissan Banking Sewa

    The Bank has introduced new service in the market to cater to the needs of people going for foreign employment, “Baideshik Rojgar Banking” which will not only fulfill the need of transferring money to the family of the employee through remittance service but also helps the person open a savings account and also avails the person the facility of loan when in need. Similarly, “BOK Kissan Banking Sewa” was re-launched with added features and services amidst another function on 10th August by Ajay Shrestha the CEO of the Bank, where the minimum balance for savings account is NPR 100 and NPR 500 for Recurring Fixed Deposit account. The Bank will further deposit NPR 100 during the time the accounts are opened for both Savings and Recurring. The accountholders will further be allowed to apply for individual loan in order to enhance their business in farming, the loan amount ranges from NPR 10,000 to NPR 150,000 only. The service is primarily targeted to rural sector to encourage them to come into banking channel where the Bank desires to provide them with easy Banking facilities.

  • BOK opens 2 new branches in Kathmandu -Maharajgunj & Battisputali

    As a means to provide banking facilities to a larger Nepali mass Bank of Kathamndu Ltd. opened its 2 new branches in Kathmandu: Maharajgunj andOld Baneshwor, Battisputali. The new branches were opened amidst inauguration functions where Maharajgunj branch was inaugurated by Chairman of the Bank Mr. Narendra Kumar Basnyat and Old Baneshwor by Director of the Bank Mr. Satya Narayan Manandhar. With the addition of two new branches Bank of Kathmandu now has a total of 45 branches and 7 counters throughout the country. Apart from this, the customers can utilize the facility of its network in 54 ATM counters.

  • BOK launches 'BOK Chetanshil Yuwa Bachat Yojana'-a deposit product which is part of Youth Save Project.

    Bank of Kathmandu Ltd. launched “BoK Chetanshil Yuwa Bachat Yojana” today. The product is tailored for low income youth aged 10 to 22 with features such as low minimum balance, free lockable piggy bank and highest interest rate amongst its savings products. The bank will also ensure easy access to the product by offering the product related services at few selected venues like schools/clubs in addition to the bank’s branches. The product which was earlier piloted through its branches in Attariya, Surkhet, Bhaktapur and Gongabu will now be available at all its 43 branches across the country.

  • Two popular Deposit Products 'My Choice Women Savings Account' & 'Gramin Mahila Bachat Khata' revised with added attractions
